EVENT BRANDING

YEAR: 2018

CHALLENGE
SampleCon was launched in 2013  with the goal of creating an open forum for discussion of topics in the sample industry. The team requested the event branding be designed around the location of the 2018 event. 


The word bubble graphic is used as the event logo lockup – a reference to the event being a place for an open forum with
discussions about the sample industry. Icons and an old map of the city of Austin are used as additional visual language elements.


The client wanted a series of emails all designed with their own look and feel to get attendees excited for the event.


A template for the event prospectus was designed for the team to populate with content.
The design leverages the word bubble idea as a graphic element and provides three page
layout options. Because the prospectus was to be filled with all of the sponsors' own ads,
it was important for the design layouts be very consistent in look and feel so the SampleCon
branding could stand out.
