CHALLENGE
SuiteConnect is a regional event that takes place in London, San Francisco, Mexico City, Columbia, and Sydney. Having designed 3 of the 5 cities, the challenge for each location is to use one singular branding look and feel, but to have each location be unique.
THE SOLUTION
The branding is comprised of elements that are shifting and unlocking from each other to reinforce the event theme, Unlock Growth. Typography is tucked into and behind the shapes to add some dimension within the environmental design. Linear elements found in the architecture of the space were brought into the design language, connecting the graphic language to the spatial elements.
Furniture selection is a big part of the design on site. Pulling pieces that connect to the visual language help to continue the attendee’s branding journey throughout the event space.
THE EXPO
The Oracle NetSuite booth is comprised of a long flat wall with 4 demos, along with a checkin desk. The two available levels of sponsorship have slight variations in the booth design, one with a simple cabinet and a wall with a monitor, and the high level with an extended counter and a double wall and monitor. The design continues the bold fun playful colors and the interlocking geometric shapes.
The Keynote stage design is a simple translation of the event branding keeping the content and speaker the main focal point.
The customer activation for the brewing company Two Birds created quite the buzz in the expo hall. We brought in an artist to do a live drawing on a table top to build curiosity and interest. The table ended up being a large tasting activation where attendees could try different types of beer along with appetizers paired together for their ingredients.
